QoS Prediction of Web Service Composition with Transaction Mechanism

  • An approach for QoS prediction of Web service composition with transaction mechanism is proposed. With the analysis on the exception handler policy of the transaction and the effect on the execution processes of composite services, the specification model of composite services is defined. On the base of the model, an algorithm to predict the QoS of composite services is proposed. The experiment shows the approach gets lower error rate than the existing workflow based prediction approach while estimating the composite service with transaction mechanism, and proves the feasibility of the algorithm.
